1.1 : Tables
So, you ask what I mean when I talk about confining
the text to one specific part of a page. Below you'll see examples
of that I am describing.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit,
sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore
magna aliquam erat volutpat. Ut wisi enim ad minim veniam,
quis nostrud exerci tation ullamcorper suscipit lobortis
nisl ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis autem vel
eum iriure dolor in hendrerit in vulputate velit esse molestie
consequat, vel illum dolore eu feugiat nulla facilisis at
vero eros et accumsan et iusto odio dignissim qui blandit

Imagine that the white border of the table
above represents the boundries of your screen. Text just doesn't
look right going all the way from one side to the other. If you
use a table to constrain the text you basically get margins at
either side of your text, giving you something that looks like
what you see below.

text used in the demonstration above is set into a table which spans
80% of the width of the "screen".
